CREA Summer Day Camps
Every day at CREA campers will explore the Cathance River Nature Preserve under the supervision of our experienced and engaging camp staff. Each camp week includes “water walking” in the cool Cathance river, hiking on the 235 acres of wooded Preserve trails, fishing, hunting for frogs and turtles, and even weekly mud wallowing! Campers will have fun developing new skills, building friendships and exploring new interests in a safe and supportive environment.

Wilderness Squad Unite! | July 15 – 19| Grades 1 – 2
This week is all about wilderness challenges! Campers will work together and as a team to build, explore, and challenge their 5 basic senses on the Preserve. Nature camouflage creations, silly minute-to-win-it games, and scavenger hunts abound!

Under the solar paneled roof of the CREA Ecology Center campers this week will learn about Going Green! We’ll tie dye bandanas with organic materials, build our own mini eco-systems, earn Leave No Trace awards and end the week with CREA’s very first Recycled Art Showcase.
