This walk will focus on the local geology of the Cathance River Preserve with an emphasis on the minerals and rocks visible in historic quarry pits. Tree ID in the Maine Woods

This outdoor session on the Preserve will start inside the CREA Ecology Center with a 10-15 minute overview of Maine’s woods and the Cathance River Nature Preserve.
