Population & Consequences to the Environment

John Seager is President and Chief Executive Officer of the national organization Population Connection and an expert on environmental issues.  Today there are over 7 billion human inhabitants of our planet; by 2050 there will be 10 billion.  John’s talk will detail environmental impacts of expanding human population.

His extensive background includes work with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and as a Congressional aide. Seager served under seven-term U.S. Representative Peter Kostmayer of Pennsylvania, succeeding him in 2005 as President of Population Connection, formerly known as Zero Population Growth.

Registration is not required.
